Lia is a Greek qualified lawyer and holds an LLM in Maritime Law from City University, London. After working for 2 years in private practice, she joined Travelers Syndicate 5000 at Lloyd’s of London in 2016 where she gained extensive experience in handling all classes of marine insurance claims including, but not limited, to H&M, Ports and Terminals, Marine Liabilities, Yachts and P&I. Throughout her time at Syndicate 5000, Lia dealt with numerous complex claims covering a multitude of international jurisdictions. In 2021, Lia joined Northern Lloyd, a broker at Lloyd’s of London, where she expanded her knowledge on placing marine risks in the London and European Markets. In 2022, Lia joined City Marine Insurance Brokers to head up the Marine Broking department.
